(About me)
I design like a storyteller.
I went to art school in New York City, and I still start every project like a story: Who is this person? What are they trying to do? What’s getting in their way?
That’s why I’m drawn to hard problems. Over 10 years, I’ve designed complex systems, especially in healthcare. At eHealth, I worked on Medicare experiences that help people compare plans, understand costs, and enroll. Those are high-stakes decisions where clarity matters. I was also part of the team that redesigned and rebranded eHealth’s entire product.
My approach is research-informed and collaborative. I work closely with product, engineering, and business partners to understand what people need, make the hard parts visible, and keep the user at the center of every trade-off.
For me, storytelling is more than a design metaphor. Outside of work, I write fiction. I recently finished my first novel, and I keep exploring new ways to bring creative ideas to life.
